I have over five years of experience playing piano in Catholic church services and am available to fill in as a substitute pianist. As a versatile composer and arranger, I create music for small ensembles, concert bands, orchestras, jazz bands, and more. In addition, my work includes composing scores for award-winning short films and arranging for marching bands. Furthermore, I have over five years of experience performing percussion in award-winning concert bands, orchestras, and marching bands.

Who I Am
My name is Andrew Yuska, and I am a jazz pianist, composer, and passionate musical storyteller. Rooted in the colorful tradition of jazz, I strive to create unique music that connects with every person he plays for. Inspired by jazz legends and contemporary innovators alike, I continually seek to push creative boundaries.
Whether performing on stage, composing original works, or collaborating with fellow artists, I strive to create meaningful, moving experiences through music.
I have performed in venues ranging from intimate clubs to Carnegie Hall, led jazz ensembles, composed film scores, and played in musical theater productions. In 2025, I toured Japan with the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra Jazz Band, broadening my artistic perspective and international experience. My work reflects a dedication to the craft — not just as a performer, but as a listener, leader, and creator.
I am currently based in Rochester, New York for most of the year, where I study Jazz Piano Performance at the renowned Eastman School of Music. I also maintain an active presence in Orlando, Florida during the summer and winter months, offering opportunities for performances, collaborations, and teaching.
As a teacher, I am committed to fostering curiosity and creativity in my students, tailoring lessons to individual goals and musical interests.
